The MHRA Riding Academy…

The MHRA Riding Academy is an all-ages lesson program specializing in Hunt Seat Equitation, a popular form of riding in the United States.  MHRA strives to create a fun, safe, and educational environment, allowing our riders to experience all the joy horses have to offer.  Harleigh has grew up with horses and has taught children and adults professionally for over 30 years.  Harleigh’s extensive experience in the equestrian industry allows her to offer a comprehensive lesson program, horsemanship seminars, and a schooling show series.   At Marshall Hall Riding Academy, Harleigh strives to help develop a positive, healthy, and disciplined individual who can handle any of life’s challenges.

Dress Code Required: paddock boots & half chaps or tall boots, riding pants, fitted shirt, ASTM approved riding helmet; hair must be in a ponytail/pulled away from face. Riding vest optional.

Monthly Lesson Packages

New Pricing Effective September 1st

4 lessons per month – $460

8 lessons per month – $920

private lessons $700 per month
(4 lessons per month)

Mommy & Me $300 per month
(4 lessons per month)

What is your billing policy?

MHRA works with a monthly billing cycle through QuickBooks and will no longer be taking credit cards.

The commitment is to ride once, twice and/or add beginning jump tuition if you are ready to start that process. $460 or $920 respectively. All lessons must be consumed in the month they are purchased or they will be forfeit. No exceptions.

All January lessons must be taken in the month of January, for instance. There will be no carry over to the next month. Much like a gym membership, or a timeshare you will be billed monthly.

What happens if it rains? You will need to schedule a make-up lesson in that month.

Bookeo requires a Customer Account with fee. We are using Bookeo to schedule. Therefore, we have a $1 membership fee for you to create your Customer Account specifically for MHRA. Your Bookeo MHRA Account is required for you to schedule on our calendar.

Release & Waiver Forms

All participants need all applicable releases filled out and on file with MHRA.

YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISIS WITHOUT THESE FORMS COMPLETED. THE STABLE IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THESE TO BE FILLED OUT. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL THREE FORMS BEFORE COMING TO OUR FACILITY. THANK YOU.

Please note that MHRA is not a Certified Equine Therapy Riding Center for “Special Needs Riders”. Under federal regulations all riding centers participating in Equine Therapy and their employees must be licensed, insured and certified by “Equine Assisted Activity Therapy” (EAAT) and the “Professional Association of Therapy Horseman International “(PATH).
